US Gov’t Seen Hitting Debt Limit in March or April
Wall Street economists, looking at recent seasonal spending and revenue trends, estimate the $14.3 trillion debt limit will be reached toward the end of March or sometime in April if Congress fails to raise it before then.
Hitting the limit could force shutdowns of federal offices, as happened in 1995, threaten payments for Social Security and other federal benefits, or even cause a default on federal debt payments. In effective default — the worst-case scenario — would cause long-term damage to U.S. access to debt markets costing the United States its prized AAA credit rating and raising borrowing costs significantly, adding to budget problems.
Home price drops exceed Great Depression
It is a dubious milestone for the U.S. housing market which has failed to gain much traction despite a host of government programs to reduce delinquencies and encourage demand with temporary tax credits and lower interest rates. Many economists expect further price drops, even if there are some anecdotal signs of growing demand, such as in pending home sales data.
Growing weary of those intrusive TSA X-ray Back-scatter Body Scanners and the enhanced security Pat downs (TSA agent running his or her hand up the inside of a passenger’s leg or maybe put their hands inside the underpants for a more thorough search)? What can you do if you don’t want to be groped – molested – and indecently assaulted by the TSA. Homeland Security believes they have the solution… It’s called Global Entry and associated Programs – you can check in at the governments Global Entry Kiosk and experience: No processing lines – No paperwork – Access to expedited entry benefits in other countries – Reduced wait times and it’s Available at major U.S. airports.

Remember something called the North American Union? Well it’s back…
The Security and Prosperity Partnership /Trusted Traveler Program
The developments are just the latest in what was launched on March 23, 2005, at the conclusion of their trilateral summit in Waco, Texas, when President George W. Bush, together with then-President Vicente Fox of Mexico and then-Prime Minister Paul Martin of Canada, declared the participation of their nations in the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, without any specific congressional approval or authorization.
Under the SPP, the U.S., Mexico and Canada organized some 20 different “shadow government” bureaucratic working groups composed of agency heads and undersecretaries in the three nations, spanning a wide range of policy areas, from e-commerce to aviation policy to borders and immigration, trilateral travel, transportation, energy, environment, food and agriculture, health, and financial services.
Texas to TSA: You keep the Scanners – We’ll keep our Privacy
The Trusted Traveler of North America program was an initiative assigned for completion to the Transportation Working Group that consisted of ministers and administrators for the relevant transportation agencies in the United States, Mexico and Canada…
City board recommends against allowing nude X-rays, pat-downs… They’re considering a plan to impose jail time on federal workers who want to enforce Obamacare provisions and are in the hunt to be the first state to require presidential candidates to document their constitutional eligibility.
The dispute over the invasive procedures has been heating up since before Thanksgiving, after the federal government announced it was ramping up security at the nation’s airports. It is installing X-ray machines that look through a person’s clothes, essentially allow TSA personnel to view a nude image of the passenger.
Alternatively, TSA employees have been given instructions to pat passengers’ bodies, including private parts, in a procedure critics have called a government-sponsored sexual assault. Several lawsuits have been filed over the procedures, and some states have announced plans to prosecute TSA agents who violate state pornography or sexual assault laws.
Internet groups fear that the United Nations could threaten future governance of Cyberspace
Autocratic governments like China and Iran attended the meeting, as did several democratic ones. Despite protests by Portugal and the United States, they voted to staff a working group on the future of the Internet Governance Forum – an important theatre of discussion on matters of cyberspace – by governments alone. “The root of the debate here is a philosophical difference between how you approach the future governance of the Internet,” Holland told CTV.ca by phone.
“Everything that goes forward from that will have a very different tone or direction.” Technocrats like Holland have also been hinting at a specific threat: that the UN could become a forum where authoritarian governments who are riled by the free flow of information work to put the breaks on its superhighway.
A second UN body — the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), which manages the world’s radio frequencies and orbiting satellites — has been debating who should govern the Internet for years. Its secretary general, Hamadoun Toure, would like to spearhead the creation of a “cyber peace treaty” to prevent the Internet from becoming another domain in which countries wage war against one another, as they do by air or at sea.
But as Daisy Suckley, the close confidant of Franklin Roosevelt, noted in her private diary, the idea first took definitive shape when the US president went to bed on 28 December, 1941. “FDR got into his bed, his mind working and working,” Suckley recorded. “Suddenly he got it – United Nations!
Having decided on a name and dressed, the two leaders set about creating a robust international organisation that would not only win the war but sustain the peace and prevent the rise of future tyrannies through multilateral institutions, conventions and treaties. Roosevelt’s idea was also to persuade the hitherto inward-looking American people of their country’s manifest destiny as a paramount international power with global duties and interests.
The first United Nations Declaration, drawn up by Roosevelt and Churchill and building on Roosevelt’s famous Four Freedoms speech and the 1941 Atlantic Charter, was promulgated on 1 January, 1942. It was signed by Joseph Stalin’s USSR, Chiang Kai-shek’s China, various British Empire dominions and Nazi-occupied European countries, and a clutch of pro-Washington central American states.
Each government dedicated itself, first and foremost, to employ its “full resources, military or economic, against those members of the Tripartite Pact [the Axis] and its adherents with which such government is at war”. They were engaged, they said, “in a common struggle against savage and brutal forces seeking to subjugate the world”.
Web I.D. = more Government Control
According to a report in The Globe and Mail, the proposed structure for “the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace” would be overseen by an office within the Commerce Department, which is in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security. The voluntary program would assign Internet users a single account that would allow them to interact with multiple websites and government services, eliminating the need for consumers to keep track of usernames and passwords.
“We have seen repeated attempts by this current administration to justify massive control over communication platforms — whether it’s broadcast platforms or the Internet — by saying they want us to have an easier life and have more efficient use of information systems even though the up-sides may sound nice in theory, such a system only “increases the muscle that the federal government has over our individual lives.”
The Real ID’s Face Lift – Still Alive and Kicking
Kephart said several states have been quietly meeting Real ID requirements over the past year, and the “Real ID is alive and well and is being implemented,” Despite the immense amount of rhetoric against it,
The Real ID Act of 2005 stemmed from one of the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission and was passed as part of a broader anti-terrorism effort. It seeks to establish a national standard for issuing driver’s licenses and other forms of identification. Under the act, all state driver’s license databases would be linked.
This would allow information in a person’s record in any state to be accessible by officials in other states, and by the federal government. The Department of Homeland Security has noted that eventually Real ID-compliant cards will be required for air travel, for access to federal buildings and even for receiving federal benefits such as Social Security.
So exactly what is it that George Soros is trying to accomplish? Well, in a nutshell, what he wants is a Big Brother-style one world government based on extreme European-style socialism, strict population control and the radical green agenda.
It would be a world where the state tightly regulates everything that we do for the greater benefit of the environment and of society as a whole. However, Soros is not the “mastermind of the New World Order”. The truth is that to those in the international banking elite, Soros is considered to be something of a “black sheep” and an “outsider”.
Much of what Soros is trying to accomplish lines up with the goals of the international banking elite, but what they don’t like is that Soros won’t stop publicly talking about a global currency and a “New World Order”.
Of course the international banking elite very much want a global currency and a “New World Order”, but what they don’t need is a “squeaky wheel” like Soros running around drawing unneeded attention to those goals. Soros has also been a tremendous backer of Barack Obama, although lately Soros seems a bit disenchanted with him.
Through organizations such as the Center for American Progress and MoveOn.org, Soros is constantly trying to influence the state of American politics. The only thing that Soros seems to fear is that the “managed decline” of the dollar could “get out of hand” and could lead to global financial chaos.
Soros even had the gall to say that having the dollar be the reserve currency of the world is not in our national interest and that a move to a global currency is “a healthy, if painful, adjustment” that we are just going to have to endure for the greater good of the world economy.
But to men like George Soros, it doesn’t really matter what “the little people” think. In the world that Soros lives in, those with overwhelming amounts of money and power know what is best for the rest of us, and if “the little people” don’t seem to want to go along initially then public opinion can be bought if you just spend enough money.
