Identity in the Palm of Your Hand
New Palm Scanning Technology For Patient Identification

“Palm vein biometric authentication is 100 times more accurate than a fingerprint,” Driven by legislation and government policy makers, patient safety has motivated healthcare organizations large and small around the nation have plan’s to use this technology. This identification method is considered highly accurate, since each person’s vein pattern is unique.

Upon registration, patients place their right palm into a scanning device. The contact less biometric technology authenticates (scans) the hand to capture a image of the blood flowing through the veins. The hand rests palm-side down just above the scanner with the veins appearing as a unique black pattern on a light background from the patient’s palm and a image of the “print” is recorded.

The digital image is then converted into a number that correlates with the patient’s medical record. A unique identifier that’s stored and associated with the patient’s medical records. This identifier fulfills one of the two forms of authentication that are required under HIPAA regulations when hospitals register patients..”

Originally developed to authenticate bank customers at ATMs in Japan, the diminutive healthcare version connects to the registration workstation computer, which also connects it to the hospital’s network and the organization’s master patient index (MPI) database.

Again this is only one of the various types of information that will be implemented into the RFID ID card that’s coming to America but, it is a clear example of how the system will work. If you have given your fingerprints, retina scans, hand scan, digital photo, banking and the other personal information and signed on the dotted line to join this RFID system How will you get out?

You can throw your RFID card in the trash or shread it, when the time comes you can remove the RFID implant from your body, but you are still in the database system – with your biometric identifiers and your (RFID) number. A simple check point without your RFID number and you are right back in the system when they check your biometric information.

There’s no need for a RFID Microchip Implant… Just carry your RFID ID card and place your  right palm in the scanner.  Just in time for Obama’s mandatory National Health Care plan…

Medvedev sees chance for new world order

europa

Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian president, said Moscow was bidding to help lead efforts to build a new world economic order after the old system collapsed in the global financial crisis. Mr Medvedev said the renewed interest in Russia this year was a sign of a changing world in which the institutions of the western-dominated world order had had their day amid thousands of corporate defaults and the threat of sovereign defaults.

“What had seemed untouchable has collapsed. The bubbles that created the illusion of flourishing economies have burst,” Mr Medvedev said. “For Russia this situation is a challenge and an opportunity. We are living in a unique time. And we should use it to build a modern, flourishing and strong Russia … which will be a co-founder of the new world economic order and a full participant in the collective political leadership of the post-crisis world.”.

San Francisco moves towards cashless society…

San Francisco has moved towards becoming a cashless society following the announcement that paper travel tickets will be phased out from the summer.

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) has confirmed that paper tickets will no longer be available from November 1st.

Commuters will be able to use the city’s contactless smart travel card, known as the Clipper card, to make cashless payments across the transport network.

The multi-functional card can be used on the Municipal Railway, the ferry, Golden Gate Transit, Caltrain and Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART).

Spokesman Murray Bond confirmed that some paper passes will be available beyond the November deadline for young, elderly and disabled passengers.

He said: “I think it will take the rest of this year or more to get all those folks transitioned. But at some point in time, that will cease to exist too.”.
